Postcards research

For bright colours and vector based type, I instantly thought Matt W Moore, great use of simple shapes and the bold colours really stand out. Many simple effects layered and combined together to create a really strong and technical piece of vector art. Following his site and twitter for a while, I keep being tempted by the shop online but the wallpaper there is just took expensive. Google 'MWM graphics' to find out more.

The third image is a typeface from the brilliant Jonathan Barnbrook called 'olympukes' using initial pictograms and manipulating them the describe the flaws of the olympics. I saw his work a few years ago at the Design Museum on a previous course and enjoyed his work since.
